Mission Statement
Our mission is to develop swimmers of all levels in a strong community atmosphere supported by extraordinary parents, coaches and athletes together.  Through positive motivation and  self-awareness, we strive to develop athletes to their maximum potential at their natural rate of progression.

Welcome to the Capital Area Swim Team. We are located in the Lansing, Michigan area at several convenient locations. This site is meant to provide you with information about our club and keep you up-to-date with relevant information.  Capital Area Swim Team is a United States Swimming affiliated program offering the the youth of the mid-Michigan community opportunities to achieve excellence through swimming.  Self-confidence, goal setting, good sportsmanship and commitment in a positive environment form the bedrock of the CAST team structure.  We practice and compete year-round, and are always accepting new swimmers.  Regardless of prior ability, there is a place for everyone at CAST!




Provided here are several resources that may answer questions about the program and the swimming adventure in general.  This site serves to acclimate new families to the sport as well as keep our current swimmers in the loop.  We encourage you to get involved and take great satisfaction in knowing that the point is the experience.
